An Open Letter to those who "WANT TO BELIEVE."

Let me ask you something. Do you want to believe in UFO guided by ET intelligence and governments conspiring to keep you in the ignorance about the presence of those non-human entities?
A man -made UFO.
Do you want to believe that authorities are in contact with advanced cosmic intelligences and keep this contact secret?
Now, it’s not the same thing to believe and  to “want to believe.”
If you want to believe, you will always ready to think that those who don’t believe in such things are bad people, government agents paid to disinform you. Because of this, of course you will not read them.  You will call them debunkers, even if these skeptics about the UFO-ET-Cover-Up conspiracy have a different approach like the Psycho-social UFO hypothesis.
Don't leave home without it.
That’s why the UFO Industry will never tell you that 96 % of all UFO sightings are identified as natural phenomena, man-made artifacts and hoaxes.
The professional ufologists want you to believe…and buy books, pay for lectures and shows that will “reveal” the truth, like the shameful hoax of the mummified boy presented as an extraterrestrial corpse from Roswell.
Now, since after sixty or seventy years the self-proclaimed “experts” didn’t show any credible evidence, perhaps you want to know the TRUTH.
If that’s your case, just read all there is about UFO. Buy this book that seems to give us an alternative to the UFO-ET hypothesis. Read something critical about conspiracy theory. Accept that there are good people who do not believe in the UFO-ET hypothesis and instead write about alternatives, legitimate alternatives.
This is what intelligent individuals do. They explore, they don’t deny a priory anything that contradicts his belief.
And please remember that for those who make a living selling their unreliable, contradictory mythology to…those who WANT TO BELIEVE.

The Cover-Up invention of the UFO Industry

This is an excellent article that puts an end to the $$$ speculations of the UFO Industry about the imaginary cover-up of the presumed activities of extraterrestrial intelligence in our world.
Enjoy and of course SHARE. We must always keep in mind that the professionals of the UFO business are into $$$ not TRUTH.

David Clarke's book " History of a Modern Myth- How UFO conquered the World"

David Clarke summarizes in his book the psycho-social hypothesis in the following fundamental concepts .
  • There is no such as the UFO phenomenon, but there are lots of phenomena that cause UFO
  • There is no such thing as “True UFO”.
  • Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
  • Accounts of UFO experiences form the core of the syndrome but stories do not constitute “evidence”, they are folklore.
  • Culture not experience creates the UFO interpretation but some experiences are independent of culture.
  • The UFO syndrome fulfils the role of the supernatural “other”.
  • The extraterrestrial hypothesis and other exotic theories cannot explain UFOs.
  • The idea of a superconspiracy to hide the truth about UFOs is unfalsifiable.
  • The common denominator in UFO stories is the human beings and see in believe in them. People want to belief in UFOs.
Summarizing one might say that, even if a very tiny proportion of UFO reports were generated by novel physical phenomena or psychological processes, they would not be the UFO phenomenon, which would still exist in their absence. The real UFO Phenomenon is actually a collection of stories around which a huge folklore has accrued, and is a product of the individual and collective human imagination. It tells us about human beings not aliens or unexplained phenomena.

The beginning of the UFO Psycho-social Hypothesis

This article was originally presented as a paper at the Anglo-French UFO Conference held in Brighton in February 1984

"Over the past few years a growing number of French ufologists have become increasingly doubtful about the existence of UFOs as a genuinely original physical phenomenon. I should like to analyse briefly the origins and limits of this doubt.
The first French ufologist to have said “the emperor has no clothes” was Michel Monnerie, in two hotly debated books. [1] He was until then a very classical ufologist, and a member of the editorial
board of Lumieres dans la Nuit, the leading UFO magazine in France, from which post he was fired after publication of his second book. Monnerie’s reasons for doubting can be Summarized in two main arguments:
1. The non-specificity of the residue of unexplained cases – in other words the lack of distinction between explained and unexplained cases: exactly the same patterns and the same characteristics appear in both sets of cases. Indeed, cases with typical UFO effects have been explained: electro-magnetic effects, landing traces, humanoids, effects on animals, physiological effects, etc. I personally have investigated with friends a case which involved two witnesses, a burnt trace in a field and a howling dog – it was the rising moon: The unexplained cases have no unique peculiarities.
2. The continuity between the trivial and the extraordinary: for any phenomenon it is possible to define a set of median, or most probable characteristics (for size, colour, speed, etc.). But all these parameters are distributed about the median, and sometimes the appearance of a phenomenon is very far from the median, because of the inherent variability of the phenomenon, because of had sighting conditions or misrepresentation by the witness. It follows that the further the characteristics are from the median, the less will people be able to recognise the true nature of the phenomenon. For Monnerie, UFOs are situated at the ends of the distribution function, at the ends of a bell-shaped curve. They are thus ‘fringe phenomena’ of a larger set of phenomena, but their peripheral location is not perceived as such because ufologists remove the more central part of the curve, where the less strange phenomena are identified by the witnesses themselves or by the field investigators. Ufologists, Monnnerie says, arbitrarily call the minor misinterpretations ‘false UFOs’ and the major ones ‘true UFOs’, and do not realise that there is a perfect continuity between the two series, and that the difference between them is of degree not of nature."KEEP ON READING THIS FUNDAMENTAL ARTICLE.

UFO, disinformation programs and perspectives.

UFO, disinformation programs and perspectives.

to me

Dear Mr. Fogg, thanks for your message and yes, truth is that there are several changes, (apparently, of course,) on the program of the PTB, (Powers That Be) concerning logistic, strategy or perhaps tactics in the UFO program.

Basically there are at least three different approaches concerning the UFO-ET-C.A. scheme. The traditional is based on keeping things as they are. No changes. The second group of experts think that keeping the UFO mythology alive is a waste of time and money. The third one suggests some new approaches but, in my view, these are contradictory and in the end, ineffective.

PTB show some interest in the Mexican event.  J.J.Hurtak was there, you see, and this is not casual. J.J.H. was indeed a big player in the UFO program and his presence in the Mexican "fiasco" seems to indicate that they will go on with the total non-sense approach.

I don't want to give names but while the Hawaiian exopolitician remains a systematic "informant" and W. is lost in the swamp of pure conspiracy theory, the History Professor while attacks the old Exopolitics gives us contradictory statements in what looks like an agnostic posture.

What is more than evident is that there is no more production of events. The times of the M.I.B. and abductions is gone. (After all the entertainment industry produces enough influential suggestions.)
This absence of events limits the professional ufologists resources, but in the PTB environment, nobody cares much about this.
Of course, there will be new attempts to sell the "disclosure" rhetoric and faked announcements of "imminence", but this is private production. Nothing official.
We must understand, Mr. Fogg, that  UFO fans are a small minority; so small that it doesn't justify waste of time and money.
I should say that the UFO-ET-CONSPIRACY mythology belongs to the Cold War Era. Our present is much more complex and problematic.

Richard Dolan: bad commedy, unwanted autobiography, politics and UFO Mythology.

The first thing we learn listening and watching Richard Dolan's lectures is that Ufology is infinitely boring. The self proclaimed TV personality gives us an unwanted and unnecessary autobiography blended with bad jokes and trivia.

Included below is the link to R.D. video  talking about himself, telling bad jokes and redefining the so called EXOPOLITICS which as we know is a creation of Alfred Webre and Dr. Michael Salla.
Now Richard has some surprises for us. He tells us about the world crisis, corruption, corporate power, injustice and politics.
The problem however is not this twist into critical, "chomskian" analysis. On the contrary, the real problem is that all his has little to do with the UFO Mythology.
What happens here is that Richard Dolan has nothing new to say about UFOs, a dead myth of the 50's and 60's.
Richard Dolan is 52 years old. It's time to choose between becoming a hoaxer, and a show-man or recognize his compromise with the real world and humanity's real problems.
HOWEVER, Richard Dolan is beguining to criticize the massive nonsense. Listen carefully the second part of this lecture. Soon he will be classified as an agent and a professional debunker.

Ufologists looking for some new ideas.

We can learn a lot about the UFO subculture or Ufology, reading what the experts tell us.
Michael Salla shows a practical approach. He remains in Hawaii and gives this kind of Exo-news:

Secret moon base uses abducted humans as slave labor…/

Dr. Salla doesn’t waste time in polemics and “revelations” like the no-Roswell-Slides. Instead he informs us that:
Dr Michael Salla informs that one hundred spherical extraterrestrial ships penetrated in our solar
system with new advanced technologies.
The well-known exopolitician talks also about 22 different ET races in our planet.

Talking about exopolitics, it seems to me that Alfred Webre is now out of the field, since his dedication to all kind of conspiracies is full-time. New World Order, the Catholic Church as Babylon, disguised and undisguised Satanism, Illuminati, chemtrails, genocide…you name it..!
Of course Alfred Webre doesn’t have time for the aliens since he is now a conspiracy theorist full time.

Now, about the “pillar of Ufological research” and TV personality Richard Dolan, after his promotion of the no-Roswell-slices scam, he is looking for some new “product” to clean his damaged credibility.
However, looks like he is out of new ideas and he will insist in his oldies like Breakaway Civilization, Secret Space Program and disclosure.
Looks like Richard is losing his faith, and the “pillar” is looking for a serious job. By the way,
Dolan’s apologies show a curious dilemma between recognition of guilt and narcissism.

The curious thing is that these are not in fact apologies, but a new attempt to save his face. (I hope that Richard will find cure for his compulsive posting of self-pictures.)
As you can see, ufology is condemned to repeat itself again and again. The big problem of professional UFOlogists is to find something new to say about the UFO mythology. The “believers” are losing their Faith.

Thursday, May 21, 2015

Richard Dolan’s “sincere, overdue apologies.”

No Richard Dolan, your apologies are not sincere at all. You play with words and try to make the whole thing look funny. Also, this time you didn’t punish us with a new self-portrait, but instead of your face, we see a bad humanoid draw. It’s not difficult to see in this crumpled piece of paper a symbol of your feelings concerning the future of your ufological career.

In the future, the believers will think twice before buying your book or go to your lectures. Perhaps you will be “unreliable” from now on.

Why should your audience believe in “breakaway civilizations”, “secret space programs “or the cover-up conspiracy? As usual you will give no evidences as you didn’t when people bought $20 tickets to see the “extraterrestrial “that was in fact a mummified two years’ old boy found in Mesa Verde in 1894. (People will remember this scam, Richard Dolan.)

From self-proclaimed UFO researchers to "Infotainers"

In Above top secret, “Mirageman” writes this:
The Roswell Slides hoax.
“I still say that any rationally minded human being would have looked at the slides and concluded that they were looking at a museum exhibit of a mummified child. Because a) it looks like a small mummified child and b) it looks it was taken in a museum.

So whoever came up with the story that it was an alien from the 'alleged' Roswell crash and stuck with it for 3 years has to have been only interested in making money out of it. The only other excuse is that they are a congenital idiot. In the end it was a money making exercise so I think it's obvious what my conclusion is.”

What follows is the best definition I’ve read about the career of the self-proclaimed UFO researchers, and “TV personalities.

“So where does this leave Richard Dolan, and indeed anyone
else, who takes the $, £ and € from the "UFO consumer?

I think we have to place it all in context.

None of these people have ever come up with a single iota of definite proof that we are being visited or ever have been visited by alien beings anyway.

They may start with honest intentions but eventually end up as "infotainers" once they hit the brick wall of realizing that there is nothing concrete in the field. They have to perpetuate the UFO mythos and keep the 'belief' alive whilst also trying to make a living out of it all.

Otherwise the money dries up and they would have to pursue other ways to earn a wage. Eventually leaving these fringe topics at the hands of amateurs and/or the mainstream media.”

The credibility of professional ufologists is already dead.

A bad joke.
The UFO-ET-Conspiracy believers learned a lot about the so called Ufology. First of all that ufology teaches us a lot about us, human beings and not the hypothetical extraterrestrials. Perhaps more important is the fact that this mythology is belief and not knowledge, and because of this the presumed UFO research is a religious sect or will become one.
The No-Roswell-Slides hoax shows that professional ufologists' motivation is money and not truth.
The market rules. What sells is true for these self proclaimed experts and "television personalities".

In the excellent blog "Above Top Secret " we read this comment:

"I am not entirely certain, but I think at a certain point it was decided to lead the UFO community down a blind alley. At this point the entire "field" of UFOlogy actually does come across as a complete joke. Originally, there was always interesting sightings and stories, but it became contaminated with phony stories and legitimate leaks, and so muddying the waters completely seems to be what has now occurred. No UFO contact has taken place, no advanced technology has been implemented and shared, and those who have based their careers on all of this stuff seem to be treading water and getting tired..."

"The entire field of ufology actually comes across a big joke" a sad joke, because the believers finance the jokers.  (No money back?)

Some of the promoters of the Mexican fiasco were decent enough to apologize. Others seem to believe that some more happy face selfies will keep credibility strong. They are wrong because credibility was already dead before the no-roswell-slices pathetic show.
However, those who want to believe will only read and listen to those who confirm their belief. The hoaxers will take care of those who criticize their dogma. Sinners will be excommunicated and after this the professional UFO researchers will write the same book again and again. They will tell you the same fantasies, the same lies once more. They will show you faked  pictures and tell the same stories from discredited sources and non-existent insiders.

Friends told Richard Dolan about the "Roswell Slides " Scam

"I am personally appalled by Richard Dolan's participation and I tried to stop him from going told him on Facebook on a thread not even on his page days before the event that it was a scam and he needed to stay clear of it."

"I've created some new images for Richard Dolan and they are being shared all over he Internet. And let's not believe he was paid not much. He went and ditched me when I asked about the money. Let's remember he also said to the entire world that it couldn't have been a Mummy in those slides. His Credibility is pretty much depleted now, with me at least it is. "

More reactions to the "Roswell Slides" Scam.

“A shriveled-up mummified child or dwarf is not a well-preserved “alien” that would, obviously, be preserved in formaldehyde or another chemical,” said author Wm Michael Mott on his Facebook page. “If you bought into this “Roswell Slides” hoax, I have some magic beans to sell to you.”Similarly, author and blogger Nick Redfern wrote:“Roswell Slides? Now we have the high res image, the answer is: No! Mummified child. Also, check out the hairy head behind the main head. It too has a small white placard by it. Clearly this is some sort of museum
Jaime Maussan
setting, or freak show. Interesting, but it has zero relevance to Roswell.”
Elsewhere, researcher Chase Kloetzke offered the following:“The more I look at it, the more it [resembles] a museum display case with a mummy of some sort. Even the item it lays upon seems to have “texture”… perhaps woven, such as would be found in some South American or meso-American dig sites; used as Funeral wrappings.”They were right since the mummified child was found in Mesa Verde in 1894.“A splendid mummy was received by the Park Museum recently when Mr. S.L. Palmer Jr. of San Francisco returned one that his father had taken from the ruins in 1894. The mummy is that of a two year old boy and is in an excellent state of preservation. At the time of burial the body was clad in a slip-over cotton shirt and three small cotton blankets. Fragments of these are still on the

Some hoaxes are money-making scams, but sometimes it's just a desire to say 'we fooled the world'. News writes that the May 5th even was a pathetic hoax:
“Back in November 2014, we reported on a story from the UFO community – Thomas Carey told the audience at a conference that he had “smoking gun” evidence that extraterrestrials have been here – Kodachrome slides dated 1947 showing an alien. I don’t typically use Billy Cox as a source but he does note that people have been talking about his for 2 years. And he can’t quite wrap his head around how dumb this all was. Apologies from the promoters of the Roswell Slides fiasco in Mexico City, even if they are forthcoming, are not enough. It's easy to say you're sorry while you still hold the cash. The way to make it right, or at least as right as it can be, is as simple as it was for the Roswell Slides Research Group to solve the "mystery" - the promoters must immediately offer a full refund on each and every ticket sold to the May 5th event.” Roswell Slides research Group confirms that the so called “mystery “is solved:The key to solving the mystery was in the placard seen in the slides in front of the body, a placard that the slides promoters assured everyone could not be deciphered despite extensive examination. Here is what Don Schmitt said on April 12, 2015:This will be part of the event, part of the program in May, that all of these analytical reports, all of the analyses, all of the main experts as well as the photographic experts who examined- there’s a placard, very fuzzy, that can not be legibly read by the naked eye, yet we’ve had everyone from Dr. David Rudiak, to Studio MacBeth, even the Photo Interpretation Department of the Pentagon, as well as Adobe have all told us that it’s beyond the pale, that it cannot be read, it is totally up to interpretation. So, we truly feel we have performed due diligence; we have done everything we can to substantiate and prove what is contained within these slides, whether it is something of a human malady or something truly extraordinary. It took us just a few hours to prove otherwise, once we received a high resolution copy of one of the slides (note: while our copy came from an inside source within the promoters’ group, slides promoter Adam Dew has now released it as well). The mystery of the placard is solved, and so is the nature of the body.It was a boy, from Earth. The question that remains is whether or not the Slides promoters have been deliberately deceiving the public in order to profit financially, or whether they were simply incompetent. Perhaps it was a mixture of both. Either way, their credibility as investigators and researchers has been destroyed.

Here is the TRUTH about the Mummified Child of Mesa Verde

September 1938Volume VIII, Number 1.

Attendance figures for 1938 have already broken all records. Last year the total attendance was 28,171. Already this year 29,126 visitors have entered the park and the figure will probably rise to 30,000 before the travel year ends on September 31. The largest single day's attendance was 669 on July 3rd.
The experimental corn field gives promise of producing the heaviest crop in its history. The stalks range from six to nine feet in height and some of the ears are becoming very large. This is the twentieth consecutive year that corn has been grown in the field and there have been only two crop failures during that time. Last year's crop was the heaviest in the history of the field; over 1400 ears were harvested from the plot which is slightly over an acre in extent.
According to the count of finger and nose prints on the glasses the most popular exhibits in the Park Museum are the Spruce Tree House diorama and the case of bones that show the diseases of the Cliff Dwellers. The glass on the diorama is smudged so much that it has to be washed every two hours.
A splendid mummy was received by the Park Museum recently when Mr. S.L. Palmer Jr. of San Francisco returned one that his father had taken from the ruins in 1894. The mummy is that of a two year old boy and is in an excellent state of preservation. At the time of burial the body was clad in a slip-over cotton shirt and three small cotton blankets. Fragments of these are still on the mummy.

Because of the heavy travel season little research has been done by the Ranger-Naturalist staff this year. However, two projects have been started, one, by Ranger-Naturalist Chester A. Thomas on the probable uses of the various plants by the Mesa Verde people. This is to be worked up eventually into a popular nature trail talk. The other project, carried on by Museum Assistant Betty Yelm, is a critical study of the Mesa Verde axes, involving type of material, shape, dimensions, groove type and position, and surface appearance, whether flaked, ground or polished.

What PARACAST says about Richard Dolan.

Here we have some comments about Richard Dolan and the May 15 scandal.

Posted: 16 May 2015 06:57 AM PDT
David Clarke. How UFOs Conquered the World: The History of a Modern Myth. Aurum Press, 2015
"Summarizing one might say that, even if a very tiny proportion of UFO reports were generated by novel physical phenomena or psychological processes, they would not be the UFO phenomenon, which would still exist in their absence. The real UFO Phenomenon is actually a collection of stories around which a huge folklore has accrued, and is a product of the individual and collective human imagination. May 5th Hoax.
Suddenly we find that evidences are there, in front of our eyes. Such is the case with Richard Dolan who belong to a different category of Ufologists: The disguised skeptics. Of course, since everything Secret Alpha Epsilon Z. Program, SAEZP, also known as “Correcaminos” (I don’t know why.)
is not what looks to be, it’s possible that Richard gives the image of a disguised skeptic and in fact belongs to the
Apparently, this secret program is nothing but a complex investigation on the population’s Levels of Credibility. Let me give some examples:
In several occasions, Richard Dolan told and wrote that he doesn’t know what the UFO’s are, if extraterrestrial vehicles or some terrestrial secret program, or…who knows what. Even he said that the so called UFO phenomenon was “infinitely complex”, in some way recognizing that it is an unsolvable mystery.
pathetic and sad,
More, Professor Richard Dolan, who was behind the May 5th ET photos Hoax, didn’t denied what some sources see the pathetic event as a maneuver of disinformation based on the ridicule.  Insiders call the May 5th event the “Mexican shock” and “Tequila’s Aliens”.
Of course, the Shadow Government must be behind these decoy tactics. It will not be easy for
Richard Dolan and his Keyhole Publishing Company to sell books about UFO when the writer confesses that he has no idea about what UFOs are. Seems contradictory right? Sounds like: “I have no idea what UFO’s are, but let me tell you what UFO are.”
By the way, I want to tell you people something about negative rumors. I have absolutely no evidence concerning Richard Dolan as some kind of obsessive womanizer. Those who say such thing are in fact like the UFO-ET researchers and show-men: they have NO EVIDENCE of what they say.
It looks to me that Professor Richard Dolan is a good husband and father. I also believe that soon, our researcher will choose the cultural and professional environment he deserves.
Even it’s possible that Richard will surprise us with a new book that shows how the UFO –ET mythology was created and planted as a “brainwasher” and a decoy meme by the powers that be. ([i]-)

Tomas Scolarici

i)                 The so called UFO mystery is solved already.

Richard Dolan now wants to "CLOSE" the Roswell slides Hoax.

No apologies Dolan?
Richard Dolan proclaims in Facebook his admiration for the apologies of Don Schmitt concerning his participation on  the Roswell Slides pathetic event, but while Don does apologize, Dolan declares the Roswell Slides hoax CLOSED.
It is easy to cheat and then show our "lack of interest".
It's easy to take people's money promising revelations and then "close" the event.
To "close" this shameful event will not give you back what remained of your dubious credibility.
An HONEST individual doesn't  to ask for $2O to the public IF HE IS NOT TOTALLY SURE ABOUT THE VALUE OF WHAT HE IS SELLING.
Is not enough to admire the apologies of Don Schmitt, Richard Dolan. We are waiting your apologies an probably the cheated clients are waiting for the money back.
Also Dolan tells us that there is "much work to do",(in Ufology?) . Just inform us Richard about all that work. Perhaps rewrite thesame book again and again? Prepare another "event" with Maussan? Produce more talismans "balancing cosmic energy",or plastic aliens to sell to the future public?
No, Richard Dolan. People now knows whose your friends are and people knows also the "quality" of the fictions you sell.
"Just saw this message from Donald R. Schmitt regarding the so-called Roswell Slides. This had to be hard for him to write, and he has my sympathy and respect. I know without a doubt that his intentions, and those of Tom Carey, were sincere. As everyone knows, I supported the idea that the slides were interesting enough that they deserved more investigation. Well, they got it. In my opinion, the matter of the slides is CLOSED. If others wish to debate the physiology of the body, let them. I have no more interest in this matter and fully believe we can and will move on. There remains much work to do. RD."
From Don Schmitt:
"It would seem like I've been here before... Asking my friends and colleagues to accept my sincerest apology for my participation in the recent event in Mexico City. I accept full responsibility for the fact that I allowed myself to be drawn into this situation, albeit with the best of intentions, I sacrificed my better judgement by being overly trusting when I should have known better. As one strives to make up for the mistakes of the past, there are times that emotions cause one to outrun their headlights. In my case, I ran it right off the road. Through the years I have worked hard to earn back your respect and confidence in my work only to presently jeopardize it all. For that I am especially remorseful. I am afraid that after spending almost half of my life devoted to one specific investigation, I allowed the allure of final resolution cloud my skeptical nature to be replaced by a false vision of hope. I now realize that the image in the slides is a mummy as specified by the display placard. At this time I consider the matter concluded and intend on moving forward. My only desire is that you try to understand that I never willfully did anything to mislead or misrepresent what I thought was the truth and I only acted with the best of objectives. Still, if I have offended or hurt anyone through my participation in this event, you have my deepest apology and have every right to hold it against me. When the truth finally was made known to all of us, I realized that I could only blame myself for not only failing you, but more sadly, failing myself. I must do better. And with God's help and your understanding, I promise I will.
Donald R. Schmitt"

Will the hoaxers refund money?

Dolan wrong as usual.
"...those promoting the photos as authentic, such as Jaime Maussan, the Mexican UFO expert who orchestrated the conference, insisted that it could not possibly be a mummy. A Reuters news story featured video of UFO proponent Richard Dolan at the conference claiming, without providing any documentation, that experts had ruled out the mummy explanation: “Analysis of the body … suggested this is not a mummy and not a human, not a mammal and not a model.”
Finally the truth was revealed when a slide of the image was examined and “A member of The Roswell Slides Research Team used a newly acquired source image of the placard seen in front of the body. By manipulating the commercial software, SmartDeblur, he managed to significantly clear up the blurred text.” The sign in front of the “Roswell alien” reads: “Mummified Body of Two Year Old Boy.”
Will hoaxers give the money back?
It is followed by a mostly-legible short description of the piece and concludes, as many museum signs do, with an acknowledgement stating that it was loaned by a man in San Francisco.
An identical photo was later found with the complete information: “Mummified Body of Two Year Old Boy. At the time of burial the body was clothed in a slip-over cotton shirt. Burial wrappings consisted of three small cotton blankets. Loaned by Mr. S. L. Palmer, San Francisco, California.”

May 5th: The reveal took place May 5, 2015: A pathetic hoax.

"The reveal took place May 5, 2015 by researchers Donald Schmitt, Tom Carey, Richard Dolan, and Jaime Maussan. Viewers paid $20 to see the presentation streamed “which quickly became a joke to many who paid”.
I had a call last week from a reporter asking me to speak about the Roswell slides. I had to admit that I don’t follow UFO media just like I no longer follow Bigfoot media – it’s all hoaxes all the time. Stinky garbage. It turns out the Roswell slides are additional confirming evidence that UFOlogy community is manipulated by cranks and unscrupulous hucksters. While the pro-UFO
writers cast serious skepticism on these claims, it still got huge interest. But it took a skeptical group to create an informative website to help us all understand what, if not why, this sick business erupted."

The end of Richard Dolan's image as a "serious UFO researcher"

Working hard, Richard Dolan sold the image of "serious ufologist" . Probably he believed that thousands of photos of his pretty face would solidify this image ( and his own narcissistic Ego.)
However he choose to share profits and shame with the well known UFO gang of hoaxers, charlatans  and liars and this confirms what many analysts wrote about the style of  writing about the UFO ET mythology. Time ago UFO Watchdog predicted in some way the future of Dolan:

"So what is the problem? The problem is that Dolan appears to take all evidence at face value. He will quote Morris K. Jessup on an equal basis with Jacques Vallee. He will talk of Gray Barker on the same level as J. Allen Hynek. He puts Philip Corso at the same level as Jerome Clark. In other words, he does not seem to discriminate between sources. He considers them all valid. Rather than sifting through vast amounts of disinformation for the Truth, it’s
more like he’s amassing a mound of evidence without regard to its veracity or corroboration. He doesn’t even allude to the possibility that there might be some problems with some of this evidence. The clowns are thrown in with the professors. "

Richard Dolan choose the clowns, but let me tell you this: In the so called ufology, sooner or latter, this is inevitable.
The alternative is one and only one: to be honest. To tell the truth. To work as a History professor in a clean cultural environment.
Thousands of photos of a smiling Richard Dolan will do nothing to give him back his totally lost credibility.

SHAME: May 5th Roswell Slides event in Mexico City

Just days after the May 5th Roswell Slides event in Mexico City, we presented Red Pill Junkie, a noted blogger on all things paranormal, to give you his eyewitness reactions as someone who attended the event — with a paid ticket. We also presented a special appearance from UFO historian Richard Dolan.

It didn't take long for the reaction to the event to almost spiral out of control, especially with the report that a group of researchers, both skeptical and otherwise, managed to decode the placard shown on the slides and reveal it was just the mummy of a young child. And that's just the beginning.

I can’t fathom where even ignorance would come into play in relation to the entire “Be Witness” theater troupe and this most dreadful saga. There are many, many reasons for this thinking in which have already been fleshed out to the point of ad nauseam here, and elsewhere. To give anyone the benefit of the doubt would be to turn a blind eye away from the facts... that is, unless one’s desire is purely entertainment.

Who in this world would associate themselves with such a sloppy, mismanaged, uninformed group, other than the misinformed, and those who are of the faith?

Jaime Maussan: more than 40 frauds..!
When Maussan's involvement was revealed, a collective groan was heard from just about everybody who knows anything about current UFOlogy. Anyone who has gone to a UFO conference anywhere in the last twenty years has likely heard a talk by Maussan, making wild claims and showing highly-dubious photos and videos. He is considered one of the least-credible UFO personalities active today. The page for ALCIONE (in Spanish) lists "more than 40 frauds" that Maussan has promoted. Tim Printy also has some interesting comments about Maussan.

Apologies from the promoters of the Roswell Slides fiasco in Mexico City, even if they are forthcoming, are not enough. It's easy to say you're sorry while you still hold the cash. The way to make it right, or at least as right as it can be, is as simple as it was for the Roswell Slides Research Group to solve the "mystery" - the promoters must immediately offer a full refund on each and every ticket sold to the May 5th event.
Those who were only participants in the event or the build-up to it, like Anthony Bragalia and Richard Dolan, can begin to restore some of their reputation by publicly calling on the prime organizers of the event to take this step.

Anything less is just as worthless and hollow as the event itself.
