The "Garden of the Forking Paths"

Let me go back to a paragraph I wrote yesterday about time travel. http://ufoculture.blogspot.com/2012/12/time-travel-refutation.html
“Time travel is the concept of moving backwards and/or forwards to different points in time, in a manner analogous to moving through space, and different from the normal "flow" of time to an earthbound observer. In this view, all points in time (including future times) "persist" in some way. “
Of course we must suppress the persistence of the future because events that didn’t happen yet cannot persist.
Now, let us see what happens if you go back in time to some of those events that do “persist” in some way.
Just try to get the CIA time machine and go back  to the moment in time and spaces when you meet the girl who would become latter your wife.
If you do this, either two girls will meet two boys, or you will see the event from outside...(outside from where???)
QUESTION: Now that you went back to the meeting event; there will be only one and the same event, or two different events?
Because, if it’s true that.”  In this view, all points in time "persist" in some way, your back in time event will also be there in the same time and space that the natural historic event.
However, if this is so, we will have at least two different historical developments, as in Jorge Luis Borges story, “The Garden of the Forking Paths”
The “logical” consequence of this will be that different historical developments will produce different realities, different worlds, and perhaps you will never come back to the present..!

Time Travel: a Refutation.

Time travel is the concept of moving backwards and/or forwards to different points in time, in a manner analogous to moving through space, and different from the normal "flow" of time to an earthbound observer. In this view, all points in time (including future times) "persist" in some way. Time travel has been a plot device in fiction since the 19th century. Traveling backwards in time has never been verified, presents enormous theoretic problems, and consequently is an impossibility.
A central problem with time travel to the past is the violation of causality; should an effect precede its cause, it would give rise to the possibility of a temporal paradox.
More, If Andy Basiago went back in time to Gettysburg once, he also went back infinite times. In fact he was in that time-place point before his own travel.
He was there jumping back in time before the existence of CIA time machine. This is impossible, of course.
In other words Basiago was going back in time before he was doing it, and this phenomenon repeats ad infinitum.
If there would be travel in time, history would not be an unchangeable constant, since any change made by a hypothetical time traveler would change completely our present times.
Time is a dimension in which events can be ordered from the past through the present into the future, and perhaps more important, Time is the measure of durations of events and the intervals between them.
A moment in time does not in any way remains in the past, waiting for us to “go” there. This idea is not only impossible but ridiculous.

IMMANENCE: a real concrete answer.

Immanence solves most epistemological problems and gives a real, concrete answer to the rhetoric of nonsense, and to absurd mythologies.
Immanence considers that there is no transcendent principle or external cause to the Universe, and the process of life production is contained in life itself. Simple as that
When we watch the Universe with total honesty, we can see clearly that there is no need of an external, transcendental cause for the universe, and that nothing is outside, simply because the Universe IS everything.
Transcendentalists not only invent gods and unnecessary external causes, but insist in creating superfluous entities that contradict the obvious.
So, transcendentalists suggest inexistent supernatural events and of course these events never happen just because nothing is supernatural.
Feel yourself comfortable IN the Universe and AS the Universe. Do not worry; because there is nothing outside…there is no outside.

Truth and incoherent Narratives

The narrative is communication and presumably it tells us about something. However, the story is effective only if it is coherent and correlate with what is happening. It is more efficiently communicate with simplicity, but there is a point at which the extreme simplification starts to destroy the story. That’s why Exo-fantasists narratives cease to be real communication when these are self-contradictory, and in no way correlate with what is happening in the world. The stories told by self proclaimed contactees usually collapse because of its simplicity and incoherence. It’s irrational to believe that an advanced extraterrestrial civilization will come here to talk with us about New Age nonsense. We can read the same things in our books. It’s irrational also to believe that an individual can go back in time and exist before his own birth. Time and space do not play silly games. Of course it is totally irrational to believe that advanced extraterrestrials are in secret contact with our governments, since any advanced civilization impacts inevitably the less advanced one. (Think in the Spanish conquerors in America.) So, truth is that if the Exo-narratives are simplistic, incoherent and cannot be related with the real world, we must ask for clear and concrete evidences. Those who believe without evidences are into faith but not into knowledge. They must think twice before sending money to the Cosmic Charlatans.

Archons are in numbers of 1 million units or individuals.
We control both poles gates, particularly the southern gate.
We are active only in developed regions of this planet, and our activities are associated with the Qliphoth and the so called tunnels of Seth under control Qliphotic partial control.
There are of course some humans associated with us.
These Archons-Humans associations are activated only with those humans that are unconditionally loyal to us.
That loyalty is generously rewarded by us. Remember that these few associations must be voluntary.
Our operations however, take advantage of great number of unwillingly controlled individuals in the number of hundreds of thousands.
All this information is possible only because present times justify it.

Once again we are wrongly associated with the Banks that are nothing but a human creation and a very primitive one.
A certain showman called David Ickes describes Archons as psychic vampires, and not satisfied with this stupidity, the guy makes us responsible for the greed and corruption of the capitalist system.
Read carefully:  we are not interested in your money. We do not trade or buy or sell, so your money is totally indifferent to us.
You can burn your banks if you want. We don't care.

EXO-MYTHOLOGY as KITSCH ART.

Kitsch is a style of mass-produced art or design using cultural icons. The word is a loan word from the German word meaning "worthless."
The term is generally reserved for unsubstantial or gaudy works, or works that are calculated to have popular appeal.
The tastelessness of the kitsch style is produced by a verbal or graphical pompous rhetoric presented as a special knowledge of unsubstantial things or events. I think that an excellent illustration of kitsch Ufology is the graphic expositions of different extraterrestrial beings. Here we see bad taste and nonsense in action.
Different kinds of pseudo-science and new age mysticism are composed by recycled clichés, which are some vivid depictions of abstractions and images that rely upon analogy or exaggeration for effect.
Classic ufological kitsch are the handsome Venusians of Adamski or the auto-proclamation of Richard Boylan as Councilor of Earth. Of course in this definition we cannot forget the Flying Saucers hanging from a string tied in the branches of a tree.
Of course, there are kitsch definitions and one of these is the so called Exopolitics defined as the study of the key individuals, political institutions and processes associated with extraterrestrial life. Since we have no evidence about any extraterrestrial life, Exopolitics is a kitsch pseudo-science belonging to the pompous rhetoric of the ET=UFO fantasists.
By the way, in this short article we cannot forget a champion of modern kitsch talk: Andy Basiago and his jumps back in time and his adventures in Mars.

The existence of Ideas as cultural objects.

UFO-ET. fans talk and write about the existence of Unidentified Flying Objects, Extraterrestrials and paranormal phenomena, but first we should try to find what existence is.
Existence in common usage, it is the world one is aware or conscious of through one's senses, and that persists independently in one's absence. Other definitions describe it as everything that 'is'.
That’s why cats, the Sun, the sea and the mountains exist. We can see these entities and tomorrow, we will see them again, since their existence is persistent independently of our senses.
However, when we talk about UFO, angels, ghosts or gods’ existence, we have some problems to solve.
Do these invisible, untouchable, unreliable things exist? No, not as things, but as ideas
The existence of some of these entities doesn’t seem to be independent of our mind. There are no evidences of their existence in the objective world, but this can be solved.
Extraterrestrial crafts, aliens, gods, angels, ghosts and demons exist as cultural elements, and if this is so, the polemics about existence or inexistence are meaningless.
For example, Dr. Carl Jung wrote in the 50’s a book about “Things that are seen in the sky”. For him, objective existence or inexistence of UFO has no importance, because he sees ancient and modern unidentified flying objects as Archetypes of the Collective Human Subconscious.
If we are honest with ourselves and have a rational mind, we investigate the impact of those cultural elements in individuals and societies.
On the contrary, if we are dishonest or have an irrational mind, we will insist on the objective existence of aliens, ghosts, gods or angels.
This hypothesis however, requires obvious, solid, believable, experimental evidence. Mythologists don’t have such evidence at all.
They are fantasists trying to make you believe in their rhetorical tricks.

The Cover-Up Mythology

What I call the "cover-up Paradox" is a contribution to rational Ufology. First, let us consider the different kinds of possible Cover-ups. 1) The first model of cover-up is just the denial that those UFOs that resist any conventional explanation, are the evidence of some kind of advanced, non-human technology. The gov. doesn't want to recognize that the UFO Phenomenon cannot be stopped. The gov. would be forced to recognize his own VULNERABILITY. 2) The second model of cover-up is based on the idea that the gov, KNOWS who the Aliens are, and perhaps what they want. They will not recognize this knowledge. 3) The third cover-up model would be the complicity of the gov. with the Aliens, and includes some kind of hypothetic contact with the unwanted guests. 4) The fourth model suggests that the government is controlled by Aliens. The authorities perhaps even have knowledge of some Alien technology. We are then colonized by one or several Alien races. Where is the paradox? The Exos rhetoric always choose the last two models of Cover-up: Why? Just because the biggest cover-up will justify their paranoid rhetoric. The EXOS can tell us what they want, and any demand of Evidences will be denounced as disinformation, debunking, and provocation. The neo-cultists will protect their total lack of evidences in the shadow of an omnipotent cover-up. The paradox is that the Exos are protected by the same cover-up they denounce. Ergo, is possible to suggest that the EXOS are part of the cover-up. Their unsubstantiated claimings makes the UFO Phenomenon look ridiculous and keep the good, rational minds out of the inquiry. --

Ancient Books, Stones and Horror Fiction.

If you want to believe in nonsense, you can choose between thousands of different pseudo-scientific and mystic stupidities Nonsense: The Bible and other old books and carved stones, tell us when and how the world will end. Those who believe this, have a big problem. Humans knew more things in the past than now. If this is so, why they didn’t have vaccines? Nonsense: Prophets of old were inspired by God and revealed secrets and mysteries. If you have patience and like horror books and films, just read the so called Old Testament. To: fso2604@gmail.com

So much talk about the archons shows misunderstanding and confusion.
Let's make it simple. Of course the archons know how to occupy individuals of both sexes.
But invasion is just the beginning, because in time, Archons become the possessed.
This process however is not traumatic. In fact the possessed ignores the truth.
She or he gradually becomes the archon without knowing this.
Because of this, if you destroy the occupier you also destroy the occupied.
Why? Because occupied and occupier are the same entity.

Causality and the Time-Travel Myth.

Causality (also referred to as causation, is the relationship between an event (the cause) and a second event (the effect), where the second event is understood as a consequence of the first.
It is obvious that the causal event must happen before the effect. The effect is a consequence of the cause.  The cause C, is cause only if the event C is previous to the event Effect E.
Though the causes and effects are typically related to changes or events, candidates include objects, processes, properties, variables, facts, and states of affairs; characterizing the causal relationship can be the subject of much debate.
The stone C breaks the window’s crystal E.
The explosion C burns the house E.
The time-traveler jumps back 2 hundred years. This is possible only if he, E, exists before his mother, C, was born.
If this is so, we have the absurd: The Effect precedes the Cause. The son exists before his mother.
It’s of course impossible to imagine a world where the effects arise before the causes.
If you believe that this is possible, think twice.

Chaos Theory and Butterfly Effect

Chaos theory is the study of nonlinear dynamics, in which seemingly random events are actually predictable from simple deterministic equations.
In other words, the deterministic nature of these systems does not make them predictable.
This behavior is known as deterministic chaos, or simply chaos.
In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions, where a small change at one place in a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences to a later state. The name of the effect, coined by Edward Lorenz, is derived from the theoretical example of a hurricane's formation being contingent on whether or not a distant butterfly had flapped its wings several weeks before.
Although the butterfly effect may appear to be an esoteric and unlikely behavior, it is exhibited by very simple systems: for example, a ball placed at the crest of a hill may roll into any of several valleys depending on, among other things, slight differences in initial position.
A chain reaction is a sequence of reactions where a reactive product or by-product causes additional reactions to take place. In a chain reaction, positive feedback leads to a self-amplifying chain of events.
Chain reactions are one way in which systems which are in thermodynamic non-equilibrium can release energy or increase entropy in order to reach a state of higher entropy. For example, a system may not be able to reach a lower energy state by releasing energy into the environment, because it is hindered in some way from taking the path that will result in the energy release. If a reaction results in a small energy release making way for more energy releases in an expanding chain, then the system will typically collapse explosively until much or all of the stored energy has been released.
A metaphor for chain reactions is thus a snowball causing larger snowfall until finally an avalanche results ("snowball effect"). This is a result of stored gravitational potential energy seeking a path of release over friction.
UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES.
Can be roughly grouped into three types:
A positive, unexpected benefit (usually referred to as luck, serendipity or a windfall).
A negative, unexpected detriment occurring in addition to the desired effect of the policy (e.g., while irrigation schemes provide people with water for agriculture, they can increase waterborne diseases that have devastating health effects, such as schistosomiasis).
A perverse effect contrary to what was originally intended (when an intended solution makes a problem worse), such as when a policy has a perverse incentive that causes actions opposite to what was intended.
Possible causes of unintended consequences include the world's inherent complexity (parts of a system responding to changes in the environment), perverse incentives, human stupidity, self-deception, failure to account for human nature or other cognitive or emotional biases.
As a sub-component of complexity (in the scientific sense), the chaotic nature of the universe—and especially its quality of having small, apparently insignificant changes with far-reaching effects (e.g., the butterfly effect)—applies.
Robert K. Merton listed five possible causes of unanticipated consequences
Ignorance (It is impossible to anticipate everything, thereby leading to incomplete analysis)
Error (Incorrect analysis of the problem or following habits that worked in the past but may not apply to the current situation)
Immediate interest, which may override long-term interests
Basic values may require or prohibit certain actions even if the long-term result might be unfavorable (these long-term consequences may eventually cause changes in basic values)
Self-defeating prophecy (Fear of some consequence drives people to find solutions before the problem occurs, thus the non-occurrence of the problem is not anticipated.)

Choosing your own Delusion.

Truth is that if you look for Tarot practitioners converted to Christianity, you will find also
Jews for Jesus
Xstians becoming Muslims
Muslims becoming Xstians.
Christians becoming cabalists
Buddhists becoming Evangelics
Jews Becoming Buddhists
A never ending game. However, nobody who believes that 2+2=4 becomes a believer in 2+2=5. Why? Simply because if I put two apples in an empty basket and then other two apples, I will always have 4.
2+2=4 is a fact.
However, someone else believes in the Tarot and then believes in Jesus born from a Virgin, resurrected inventor of the super-magical act of transforming the bread and the wine in the blood and flesh of the Savior, well, honestly there is no big difference. Changing Tarot for Christ is just choosing a new dream, a new belief. Now belief in the Catholic Encyclopedia is defined with the following words:
That state of the mind by which it assents to propositions, not by reason of their intrinsic evidence, but because of authority.

So, the truth is that in the Universe, nothing will change if someone changes from one belief to another.
You will probably believe that something is different now. Great. Why not?
After all the Evangelists hypnotize the audience telling them “to open their hearts to Christ” Any rational individual knows that this is nothing at all but a childish metaphor.
To make it short: choose your own drug-belief. Chose the delusion you like best. You are free to do that.

Betty & Barney Hill : the Abduction Meme is born

Betty and Barney Hills: Dr. Simon's conclusions
After extensive hypnosis sessions, Dr. Simon concluded that Barney's recall of the UFO encounter was a fantasy inspired by Betty's dreams. Though Simon admitted this hypothesis did not explain every aspect of the experience, he thought it was the most plausible and consistent explanation. Barney rejected this idea, noting that while their memories were in some regards interlocking, there were also portions of both their narratives that were unique to each. Barney was now ready to accept that they had been abducted by the occupants of a UFO, though he never embraced it as fully as Betty did.
Though the Hills and Simon disagreed about the nature of the case, they all concurred that the hypnosis sessions were effective: the Hills were no longer tormented by anxiety about the UFO encounter.
Afterwards, Simon wrote an article about the Hills for the journal Psychiatric Opinion, explaining his conclusions that the case was a singular psychological aberration.
Influential TV show
Paranormal investigator Brian Dunning reports that the hypnosis sessions occurred over two years after the reported abductions, plenty of time for the couple to discuss their encounter. In a 2008 article, Dunning calls their story "merely an inventive tale from the mind of a lifelong UFO fanatic... [and] is unsupported by any useful evidence, and is perfectly consistent with the purely natural explanation."[35] Dunning's statements, however, are not supported by factual information. Betty was not a lifelong UFO enthusiast. According to Barney's 1961 letter to Major Donald Keyhoe and early investigative reports, she had not read even one book about UFOs prior to her close encounter on September 19, 1961; nor had he.
An alien (played by actor John Hoyt) depicted on TV twelve days prior to the making of Hill's 'Grey' hypnosis tape
In his 1990 article Entirely Unpredisposed, Martin Kottmeyer suggested that Barney's memories revealed under hypnosis might have been influenced by an episode of the science fiction television show
The Outer Limits titled "The Bellero Shield", which was broadcast about two weeks before Barney's first hypnotic session. The episode featured an extraterrestrial with large eyes who says, "In all the universes, in all the unities beyond the universes, all who have eyes have eyes that speak." The report from the regression featured a scenario that was in some respects similar to the television show. In part, Kottmeyer wrote:[36]
"Wraparound eyes are an extreme rarity in science fiction films. I know of only one instance. They appeared on the alien of an episode of an old TV series The Outer Limits entitled "The Bellero Shield". A person familiar with Barney's sketch in "The Interrupted Journey" and the sketch done in collaboration with the artist David Baker will find a "frisson" of "déjà vu" creeping up his spine when seeing this episode. The resemblance is much abetted by an absence of ears, hair, and nose on both aliens. Could it be by chance? Consider this: Barney first described and drew the wraparound eyes during the hypnosis session dated 22 February 1964. "The Bellero Shield" was first broadcast on "10 February 1964. Only twelve days separate the two instances. If the identification is admitted, the commonness of wraparound eyes in the abduction literature falls to cultural forces."

WHAT ABOUT UFO?

What about UFOs?
First of all, 95 % of UFO sightings are recognized as natural or manmade phenomena.
The 5 % are important only because of the UFO industry, ego-trips and fantasists.
To speak about flying objects is conjectural. In my view, UFOs are not flying and are not objects.
The UFO meme is strong enough for some people.
A meme is "an idea, behavior or style that spreads from person to person within a culture." A meme acts as a unit for carrying cultural ideas, symbols or practices, which can be transmitted from one mind to another through writing, videos, sounds, speech, gestures, rituals or other imitable phenomena. Supporters of the concept regard memes as cultural analogues to genes in that they self-replicate, mutate and respond to selective pressures.

The answer can be holographic: Holography  is a technique which enables three-dimensional images to be made. It involves the use of a laser, interference, and diffraction, light intensity recording and suitable illumination of the recording. The image changes as the position and orientation of the viewing system changes in exactly the same way as if the object were still present, thus making the image appear three-dimensional.

The holographic recording itself is not an image; it consists of an apparently random structure of varying intensity, density or profile.
I have no idea about whom or what is behind the phenomenon, but I am totally and absolutely convinced that the Extraterrestrial hypothesis is forged.
Until this very moment, there is no evidence of extraterrestrial intelligent life here or in any other place of the Universe.
There is a relatively big but totally contradictory mythology concerning Extraterrestrials, without any kind of evidential or rational value.
The presumed “extraterrestrial” messages are a sad mix of New Age, Pseudo-religion, self-help and very human ideas and prejudices.
Abductions are mostly planted pseudo-memories and fantasies or self delusions.
Same thing was with the “men in black”.
After more than forty years of research in the field, writing and talking with many people of different ages, social positions and professions, this is a short synthesis of what I think about the UFO phenomenon.

Fwd: [RationalUFOLOGY] aliens, demons and God

---------- Forwarded message ----------
From: <Infowolf1@aol.com>
Date: Sun, Nov 18, 2012 at 6:35 AM
Subject: [RationalUFOLOGY] aliens, demons and God
To: rationalufology@yahoogroups.com

I have been asked to write something on my perspective
about all this. At the end of this, I am incl. some notes
excerpted from my earlier posts, in no particular order
but incl. ideas of some relevance to all this. At the end
is material from other posts.

Here's what I think, after decades of sorting stuff out.

Flesh and blood aliens may exist. By that I mean things with
no human ancestry except for hybridization at some point, but
whose base material is not earth originate or not human originate.

This does not prove evolution if it is found, more like the opposite.
Evolution is such a crapshoot, even by evolutionary theory, that
it is not likely to happen very often. So finding independently originated
life would support the idea of a Creator rather than blind evolution.

However, another scenario would be that all life originated on Earth,
and because of lost high tech civilization perhaps only pre Flood
perhaps also later, life at least intelligent life, went offworld and
for whatever reason changed radically.

If the aliens were separately evolved, they should not be able
to hybridize with us, yet there are reports of exactly that.

If they were separately created, as variant form of made in
the image and likeness of YHWH, to be managers on their
worlds, then it might be expected they would be generically
compatible with us and capable of fertile hybridization with
us, because eventually we would meet, and we should
be able to recognize them as being essentially the same as
us, just like different human races hybridize freelly, and vice
versa.

But it is possible all the aliens are originally human, with
animal and insect and reptillian DNA added in to engineer
varieties of people suited to work in extreme environments.

Or, someone took some smart dinosaurs like deinonychus
and so forth, and doped in human DNA to make them more
useful. And you keep tweaking this mix, and adding to it,
and at some point a line is crossed and instead of a smart
animal you have an animal seeming human being.

Whatever. John's Gospel, referring to God The Logos,
Second Person of The Holy Trinity, preincarnate Jesus, says
"All things were made through Him, and without Him was not
made anything that was made." chapter 1 verse 3.

God is also referred to as having made the heavens and the
earth and all that IS in them. that incl. things He did not make
directly but that were born from them according to His
benediction that they be fertile and multiply. And of course
things made indirectly by Him, the things made by other things.

That incl. of course genetically engineered beings, and buildings
of stone or wood, and whatever.

Romans 8:19-21 says the whole creation awaits The Second
Coming of Christ and renewal by Him. Colossians 1:19, 20
and Revelation 5:13 says similarly, that the salvation in Christ Jesus
incl. all things. Therefore aliens, if they exist, are included.

There is also plenty of evidence that there is a paranormal
component to all this. Some of it demonic beyond a doubt.
That flesh and blood aliens might exist is not inconsistent
with this, it is not either or, since a flesh and blood human can
have demons and impart them to other humans.

See a note below about the role of sex in this, and such
impartation of spirits or of influence tulpa like blob whatever,
or some psychic charge or message can be implanted
by physical contact during some palm reading or other
fortune telling. (I understand there are some hookers on
the road who are also fortune tellers, which is bad trouble.)

Pat Regan argues that demons are only as powerful as you let
them be which is partly true but not entirely, and says we have
to get control of our inner demons, apparently confusing the two.
Granted the inner demons that are not real can help those that
are real make trouble for you.

But if you are going to posit extradimensional or transdimensional
entities, you are describing what are known elsewhere as
angels and demons (and traditional experts on the latter warn
they can masquerade as the former).

The possibility also exists, that there are no aliens or pre Flood
GMO ET, but humans from the past several centuries or even
earlier, using secret discoveries. Maybe the Nazis got into space.
Maybe we got humans doing some wierd shit from more recent
times.

Alien, human, they are trouble, and/or evil as hell. Being flesh and
blood doesn't rule out their being demonized or at least keeping
familiar spirits which means anyone who gets a mind scan invasion
from one of them may become demon influenced just as could happen
between humans on earth.

Ce4 research has found that seriously committed Christians who
live for Christ and make their daily decisions with Him in mind, almost
never get abducted by aliens, and those who are attacked and call
out to Jesus will stop the abduction in its tracks. This is taken to
prove these are demons, and many may be. But this also works
against humans using powers whether from demons or on their own.

"transpersonal psychology is a school of psychology that studies the transpersonal, self-transcendent or spiritual aspects of the human experience. Transpersonal experiences may be defined as "experiences in which the sense of identity or self extends beyond (trans) the individual or personal to encompass wider aspects of humankind, life, psyche or cosmos".[1] "

isn't that the sort of thing that used to be considered a symptom of schizophrenia
and/or manic delusional states?

time jumping
either the experience they THINK is time jumping is an astral illusion
where they go into places that have the echoes, shadows, copies,
shells, residuums of the past and its people, which is of course
dangerous,

and/or

it is a nonexistent phenomenon, and as people try to duplicate this
using back engineering of technology hints described by Basiago
and Co., and realize it doesn't work the whole thing is in danger
of a serious debunking,

and naturally they want to discourage anyone not part of the fraud
trying to duplicate this stuff.

This is an inadequate effort to address the implications of
the name of this egroup. How should one be rational
regarding ufology?

1. time travel has nothing to do with it. neither is time travel
the same thing as teleporting. This is aside from whether
either of these are possible or exist. They just aren't the
same thing.

2. channeling is not rational in general, because to be
rational about something you need to be in control of your
senses, you need to be able to distinguish reality from
fantasy, and that presupposes NOT being trance states,
also you need to know what and who you are dealing with
and how credible they are. Anyone human demon or alien
could be sending stuff, and it could be one thing one day
and another another and your own craziness and dreams
half the time.

So the latest blather from zetatalk or whatever is categorically
crap. I don't even read those posts.

3. Exopolitics is a wierd idea, in itself. I mean, how do you
engage in political or diplomatic or whatever interactions with
some people who don't talk to you publically? The most
expolitics can do is study what little there is that might tell us
something about them, and prepare to deal with whatever might
happen.

pretentious announcements like in one of the links in the link
section about cutting a new deal for humanity with the ETs
is pretty lame. How do you do it? According to reports these
things ALREADY cut a deal with US authorities (or rogue
authorities, the so called treaty being null and void since never
voted on by Congress), and didn't keep their word on at least
two extremely important point.

IN GENERAL, be very very dubious about anything that
makes you feel unique, special, exalted, etc. From lying
seducers to drugs to con gamers, these are the lures. They
appeal to the spiritual sins of pride, vainglory, ambition, etc.
etc. and lead to no good.

Just because something feels good doesn't mean it is.

some people's instincts are screwed all to hell and can't be
trusted. Being too sure of yourself can be a trap.

3. The phenomenon, whatever it is, and it may be several,
is DECEPTIVE. Whether human secret, or alien regardless
of whether these be earth origin from antiquity or separate
created lineage from us entirely, or demonic, it is still
deceptive.

Therefore every caution should be taken.

4. Abductees are not entirely dependent on hypnosis to get
the information. There are sometimes physical evidences, these
have been hashed over in videos, on blogs and in books. I won't
go into it here. Some abductees remember everything consciously,
but that seems rare. Most have some partial initial memory, some
remember a lot and get details from hypnosis.

Hypnosis has broken through screen memories, so that an
apparently human usually nordic is shown in fact to be a disguised
grey.

The memories are from conditions of terror, deception and so forth,
so can't be taken at face value, HOWEVER when you collect lots
and lots of information from people who don't know each other
you can correlate the similarities.

This is true regardless of what the abductors actually are.

The skills you need to sort this mess out are those of intelligence
agency analysts. Go study up on this.

you left out something. McKinnon said he found references to
ship names not in the list of Naval ships and fleet to fleet
transfers and "non-terrestrial officers."

frankly this sounds more like the rumored earth origin secret
space program and Richard Dolan's breakaway civilization,
than it does aliens, though there seems to have been a mention
of the latter.

when you have sex with anyone, you create a soul link with
them. you impart spirits you have, if any, to them, and they
impart spirits, if they have any, to you. This can happen
regardless of your role in the situation, incl. being molested
as a child. Some spirits run in families because of other
reasons not sexual per se.

This can manifest as obsessions and compulsions
especially in the category of things popular society
mocks at being called sin, but are sin. This can
manifest in addictions.

Kurt Koch wrote two or three books I think originally in German,
which dealt with occultism and its results. A large one detailed
case after case where people had sought healing from folk
witch stuff, and while the problem was solved, for themselves
or a sick cow for instance, new problems always developed
usually psycho spiritual. There might be for instance an
alcoholism problem develop in them or their children. And so
forth.

Those who go to fortune tellers and to those with familiar
spirits or spirit guides, etc. for advice do what The Bible
warns is defiling oneselff with these. Indeed, this can be
the start of a growing state of deception or prelest and
it can get pretty bad.

An interesting thing I ran into from two sources, one a
preacher and one a drug counsellor of an acquaintance
of mine. Both agreed, when you get into any kind of
compulsive behavior, whether some kinds of religion,
occultism, sexual stuff, or in the case of the drug
counsellor's comments, drug abuse, you freeze at the
mental age you were when you started.

When you stop, you have to grow up from the age you
were when you started, no matter the age you are when
you stop. For instance, if this started in your mid teens,
you will continue to be like a mid teen mentally, until this
stops, then you have to at, say, fifty years old, grow up
from mid teenage to adulthood. Regardless of your
chronological age, your mental age has frozen in time.
drugs, you freeze in mental age.

The Impossible Rational Ufology.

Is it possible to have a yahoo group about Rational Ufology? Yes, it is possible because there is such group and is this one.  (40 members perhaps.)
Apparently the concept of rational ufology is oxymoronic. An oxymoron is a figure of speech that combines contradictory terms. Sometimes however, oxymorons are crafted to reveal a paradox.
Such thing perhaps happens with the concept of Rational Ufology as reductio ad absurdum.
If this is the case, Rational Ufology group was created to show the impossibility of rational ufology.
Anyway, we can ask ourselves if this R.U. yahoo group exists at all.
If Rational Ufology group exists, where it is? Ah…no, it looks like Rational Ufology as any other yahoo group has no inherent existence. Is empty.
However, not even this is true, because the RU group exists. We are the group, but this is not important.
Let me make some suggestions, dear people. If there is no Rational Ufology, also is true that there is no Rational Politics or Rational religion. If humanity goes on killing and maiming fellow humans, there is no Rational Humanity.
So, dear people, it looks like the whole thing is a big joke.
Ufology is no more irrational than politics, religion, moral convictions and anything else.
Alfred Webre after all, or Andy Basiago, isn’t more absurd than the Pope, the Priest, and the believer, the General or the Ayatollah.
Look at the paper. Look TV news programs, if you have enough stomach. Look the impunity in action.
Look the massacre in the name of God or Allah.
Question: If Ufology is Irrational, just let me know what is rational in this world of us.

Irrationally yours

UFO PHENOMENON AS CONTROL SYSTEM

Is it possible to synthesize the theory of UFO as a Control System?
Trying to do it is…doing it.
In The Invisible College (E.P. Dutton, 1975) Jacques Vallee posits the idea of UFO (and more of less related phenomena ) as some kind of "control system."
UFOs and related phenomena , proposes Vallee, are "the means through which man's concepts are being rearranged." Their ultimate source may be unknowable, at least at this stage of human development; what we do know, according to the French researcher, is that they are presenting us with continually recurring "absurd" messages and appearances which defy rational analysis but which nonetheless address human beings on the level of myth and imagination.
Are we inside a control system?
Jacques Valle says: If you think you're inside a control system, the first thing you have to look for is what is being controlled and try to change it to see what happens.
My point is that you can't be sure until you do something. Then you realize that what you were seeing, the thing that looked absurd and incongruous, was really a marker for a boundary that was invisible to everybody else until you discovered it because you looked for a pattern. I think that's exactly what we have to do with UFOs. We have to do something that will cause them to react.

VANCOUVER, BC – There was a time when Stephen Bassett appeared to be an
honourable Exopolitics advocate.  That time is no longer, as many in the
Truth community can attest.

The latest case in point has to do with the Citizen Hearing, a project for which I co-authored the
proposal 5 years ago with Steve Bassett, and for which I have been on the Board
of Directors for 5 years, as the website on Nov. 14, 2012 demonstrated.

Steve Bassett now has raised $1 million to carry out the Citizen Hearing
project, based on words that I authored, and in part on the strength of my bio
on the website.

Archons: a very strong and active Meme.

The archons Meme is unusually strong and apparently growing.

A meme is "an idea, behavior or style that spreads from person to person within a culture." A meme acts as a unit for carrying cultural ideas, symbols or practices, which can be transmitted from one mind to another through writing, speech, gestures, rituals or other imitable phenomena. Supporters of the concept regard memes as cultural analogues to genes in that they self-replicate, mutate and respond to selective pressures.

Thanks for your words Andrew Hennessey

    Exofantasy - embarassingly obvious

Tomas Scolarici aka/James Black etc the Exopolitics skeptic has written another telling expose of the lack of something valid happening with exopolitics.
I agree with him and this is my reply to his memo.

Thanks for your update on the Exofantasists and their activities.
Its good to see you lay out the argument again.

It gets more and more obvious to the majority with each passing year that Exonihilism has nothing to offer anyone.
Fake whistleblowers with fake information, time travelling 'jump rooms' and DVD and fantasy scifi book sales are now very evident to everyone.

I would strongly urge people who are on these exo-fantasy lists to start collecting the old archive posts which comprise the various grandiose decrees, predictions and statements of intent and alleged warnings of the exo luminaries before they start disappearing off the back end of their servers.

As I did say a few years ago the whole idea behind a political movement like exo-politics is to have a mandate for political intervention and dialog in the event of contact. In over 10 years, despite all the academics involved there has not been ONE democratic manifesto for pro-human issues with non-humans.

I also said there could never be such a manifesto because it would require a loss of profit to human claimants through legal claims for compensation against those who disclose their involvement. Disclosure is Unprofitable.
An ongoing contradictory circus of smoke and mirrors, fantasy and semantic chaos, however, is Very profitable for the circus performers.

From my own evaluation of local evidence though it does seem apparent to myself and other investigators in Scotland that there is an identifiable alien presence here and that we have collected rather a lot of evidence for it locally.
It does interact with humanity but not, we have found, in any positive way.

Having looked into this phenomena I would tend to be very cautious describing these entities as 'starbothers' and knowing that the evidence for their presence and behaviour is ancient from the folklore records I personally would tend to characterise it as 'demonic'.
If I'm right – then you can forget about exopolitics and get into prayer.
Stephen Hawking suggests the human race would fare badly in any such contact and when J Allen Hynek's 'high strangeness' starts to manifest around us – it is true to say that the human race has to look elsewhere for intercession.

regards
Andrew Hennessey
