Disclosure Petition: Logical Fallacies at work.

We have several fallacies at work. Of course, the petition of Disclosure  is only effective to keep the myth of the Cover-Up alive. It’s directed to the believers in the ET hypothesis and not to the government.

First of all, nobody has any evidence of the presumed extraterrestrial presence in our planet. 

The assumption that the government knows about this and keeps the secret is given as a self-evident fact, and this is not so. Consequently, the irrational ufologists know perfectly well that the government will not give an answer to the petition.

A priori, this lack of answer will be presented as a denial of recognition but never as ignorance.

So, the mythologists will buy time and insist in the presumed cover-up as a fact. 

For them, the conspiracy theory is the only answer to the silence of the authorities. 

It is not true that “Hundreds of military and government agency witnesses have come forward with testimony confirming this extraterrestrial presence. Opinion polls now indicate more than 50% of the American people believe there is an extraterrestrial presence and more than 80% believe the government is not telling the truth about this phenomenon. “

This fallacy is called argumentum ad populum. The argumentum ad populum appeals to popular attitudes instead of presenting relevant material. In other words is based on prejudice.

Also, the disclosure petition incurs in the fallacy called poisoning the well, and creates discredit, because it doesn’t consider the denial of extraterrestrial presence as a valid alternative.

Formally acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race - Disclosure.

Richard Boylan's new OBSESSION

We know already the basic paranoid obsessions of the self proclaimed Councilor of Earth. Cabal is everywhere, is omnipotent, can stop and produce earthquakes and of course knows how to mislead the Mind of the Councilor Boylan and even the one of the Star Nations Estican Mantis.

However, not all is said, and there is a new obsession at work.

Those who are condemned as disguised cabals by Richard Boylan, are now also she-males..!

But…what this means? What can we read in this new concept?

It’s easy. The presumed powers of “psychic readings “of Mister Richard Boylan

(Who is always wrong, ) are inexistent and he is not even able to define the sex of the excommunicated “cabals”. He doesn’t even know if the imaginary cabal  is a man or a woman, consequently, he defined her or him as a she-male.

These kinds of insults are not new: when Boylan lost his license for abuses against female patients, he define these poor women with these words:

DECONSTRUCTING the UFO concept.-Tomas Scolarici

I would like to suggest the following ideas.

These thoughts are based on the deconstructive (see deconstruction) analysis of the UFO perception.

We know that 94 % of the Unidentified Flying Objects are in fact identified as natural objects: airplanes, satellites, meteorites, planets like Venus and Jupiter, and/or hoaxes, or even allucinations.

Now, our Mind is faster than our Reason. The UFO that remain unidentified, are ipso facto, extraterrestrial crafts, Flying Saucers, fast walkers.  However, this is not true. Those Unidentified objects remain unidentified, and we have no evidence to explain them as ET crafts at all. This is what I will call the subconscious meme. Decades of Science-Fiction and Irrational Ufology keep this meme alive, and we are easily deluded. Unidentified Flying Object becomes automatically and irrationally a synonym of ET craft.

Besides, if we analyze the concept expressed by the UFO initials, we will find new sources of confusion.

The word object, is defined by the Merriam Webster Dictionary as that which can be known as having existence in space or time.

In other words, we do not know if this “objects “are objects of something else, something unidentified,

and unknown.

Of course, if those entities are unidentified, we ignore if they fly or not. Nothing known that flies, a bird or an airplane, behave like there unknown entities.

I am convinced that any serious and rational investigation of the so called UFO, must begin with this sincere, realist understanding.

APOPHENIA AND IRRATIONAL UFOLOGY

APOPHENIA is the basal stone of what we will call from now on IRRATIONAL UFOLOGY. Apophenia is “the tendency (or compulsion) to find meaningful patterns in meaningless events or ideas"^.

Regardless of whether some paranormal phenomena are real, even the true-believers concede that at least a small portion of such events are probably apophenia, including some photographs of Unidentified Flying Objects.

Apophenia is also essential for conspiracy theorists always ready to identify some pattern, and conclude that it must have great significance, although in real life important events can occur simply out of random chance.

In the end of course, for these irrationalists nothing is random. Reality obeys the rules dictated by Gods, Extraterrestrials and Secret Societies and Cabals.

This conception of the Universe denies any possibility of individual or social freedom and turns ourselves into puppets of Invisible Powers.
