How to Sell discredited fantasies as facts.

Now, in GALACTIC DIPLOMACY WORLDWIDE OFFICIAL RELEASE TODAY FATHERS DAY 2013, Dr. Salla writes what follows:

Today June 16, 2013 is the official world wide release date for Galactic Diplomacy Getting to Yes with ET. Happy Father’s Day!

Galactic Diplomacy Getting to Yes with ET introduces first hand witness and whistleblower testimonies revealing that the USA, Britain, Russia and other major national governments have been secretly conducting, or known about, diplomatic relations with different extraterrestrial civilizations since at least 1952. Galactic diplomacy (aka exodiplomacy ) with extraterrestrial visitors began with discussions over the development of thermonuclear weapons, the first of which was detonated by the Truman administration in November, 1952. Diplomatic discussions then expanded to include issues such as technology development, alien bases, extraterrestrials living on Earth, human rights, and use of earth resources. In frustration over lack of government transparency with their citizens, some extraterrestrials began contacting private citizens to inform them of the true nature of alien activities on Earth, and relations with governments.

Now, if Dr. Salla believes that “…THAT DEFINITION OF EXOPOLITICS DOES NOT PRESUPPOSE THE EXISTENCE OF EXTRATERRESTRIAL LIFE, ONLY THE POSSIBILITY OF EXTRATERRESTRIAL LIFE.”, how is it possible to give the contacts between governments and aliens as a fact?

What happens is that Dr. Salla is selling his book called GALACTIC DIPLOMACY: GETTING TO YES WITH ET.

Dr. Michael Salla writes:

“Galactic Diplomacy is a book that assists those attracted to the second and third choices over how to react to the exodiplomacy that has been occurring. Those desiring to expose secret governmental activity in diplomatic relations concerning extraterrestrial life, will be given the necessary basic information tools to hold responsible government, military and corporate officials accountable for past policies, and to ensure governmental transparency in the future. Alternatively, those desiring to become active in citizen diplomacy initiatives will be given essential information for discerning the motivations and activities of visiting extraterrestrial civilizations. This is indispensable for practicing a citizen based form of galactic diplomacy.”

However, the sincerity of the book is denied by the fact that there is absolutely no evidence of any presence of extraterrestrials in our planet at all. The conspiracy theory makes possible to fantasize freely, and tell the true-blievers that the whole thing is under a complete cover-up.

Now this is very important:

Dr. Salla writes about a presumed testimony of an ex member of CIA. One word will show clearly what the exopolitician believes about these testimonies:

“In a video testimony played today before the retired US Congress members, the agent alleged that President Eisenhower sought to gain information from a secret control group called MJ-12 about alien related projects at a facility near Area 51 called S-4, both of which are located in a remote region of Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. When denied the requested information, Eisenhower allegedly authorized a personal message that the agent and his immediate superior would deliver to those in charge at Area 51 and S-4. The message was a direct threat that the President would authorize a military invasion of Area 51 and S-4 if his request for information was not carried out.”

The Merriman Webster Dictionary defines the word alleged in this way: alleged means to state as a fact without proof.

We can understand how things are done in the pseudo-science called Exopolitics.

It’s very problematic to sell a discredited fantasy as a fact, am I right?

By the way, talking about Cognitive Dissonance...

Cognitive dissonance is an uncomfortable feeling caused by holding two contradictory ideas simultaneously.

The "ideas" or "cognition" in question may include attitudes and beliefs, and also the awareness of one's behavior. The theory of cognitive dissonance proposes that people have a motivational drive to reduce dissonance by changing their attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors, or by justifying or rationalizing their attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors.

Dissonance normally occurs when a person perceives a logical inconsistency among his or her cognitions.

Let’s imagine that someone is forced to do or say publicly something they privately really don't want to do, dissonance is created between their cognition (I didn't want to do this) and their behavior (I did it).  Forced compliance occurs when an individual performs an action that is inconsistent with his or her beliefs.

Now, this cognitive dissonance will have also a great impact on the social life of the individual affected.

Most probably she or he will became growingly isolated and loose self-esteem.

If the differences between real and proclaimed convictions grow, the situation will eventually become critical.

It is possible that individuals forced to remain in such a cognitive dissonance will “lose their minds.”

Even Insanity is possible for some border line personalities.

Everything that Dr. Michael Salla says and writes about extraterrestrials is based only in a possibility. As you will read below, Dr Salla recognizes this.

But what is a possibility? This is the definition of the word.

Possibility is the condition or fact of being possible. The Latin origins of the word hint at ability. Possibility also refers to something that "could happen", that is not precluded by the facts, but usually not probable.

How words become entities.

I wrote before that we have no Extraterrestrials here but people talking about ET.
This process of words becoming entities is clearly put by John Stuart Mill:

" The tendency has always be strong to believe that whatever receives a name must be an entity or being, having an independent existence of its own; and if no real entity answering to the name could be found, men did not for that reason suppose that none existed, but imagine that it was something peculiar, abstruse and mysterious, to high to be an object of sense."

Most, if not all, criticisms of the Bush administration's motivation for launching a preemptive war on Iraq focus on a combination of the imperial world views of conservative politicians in power in Washington, D.C., and the corporate interests that drive the political agenda of the Bush administration. This study will provide a radically different political analysis of the Bush administration's motivation for going war, and of the explanations offered by his critics.

This study provides an exopolitical analysis of the policy dimensions of an historic extraterrestrial presence that is pertinent to Iraq and a US led preemptive attack.

It will be argued that competing clandestine government organizations are struggling through proxy means to take control of ancient extraterrestrial (ET) technology that exists in Iraq, in order to prepare for an impending series of events corresponding to the 'prophesied return' of an advanced race of ETs. The Columbia Space Shuttle may well have been a high profile victim of such a proxy war intended to send a message to US based clandestine organizations over the preemptive war against Iraq.

In conducting this analysis, this study examines the available evidence of an historical ET presence in Iraq, and then applies this evidence to better understand the contemporary political situation in Iraq. The study will then analyze the motivations of the main political actors in the prospective US led preemptive war against Iraq.

The study concludes by making some policy recommendations concerning how to respond to the legacy of an ET presence in Iraq and its contemporary political relevance.
