Dr. Michael Salla Skepticism and his Hypothetical World.

Dr. Michael Salla is not afraid of critics because this ex-academic lives in a perfectly organized hypothetical world called EXOPOLITICS.

Now this means also that Dr. Salla, one of the best organized UFO-ET experts, is in fact a skeptic.

For example: Salla writes something about comet Ison and its presumed escort of UFOs. And since he is intelligent enough, he uses question marks, so we get something like: IS COMET ISON ACCOMPANIED BY UFOS?. This is a very frequent practice for the Exopolitician who writes also what follows:

Again the question marks preserve Salla’s “objectivity “and keeps distance. Same happens when our expert in extraterrestrial diplomacy writes: ALIEN INTERVIEW VIDEO: HOAX OR REAL THING?

You see, the question marks protection is always there, but these are not Michael Salla’s only resource.

Years ago,  Salla tried his hand with the idea that Irak’s Invasion was in fact an operation to close a Stargate(sic.) existent in that middle eastern country. Dr. Salla writes:

“If there is a Stargate existing in Southern Iraq that will play a role in such a 'prophesied return of the gods', then it is most likely that clandestine government organizations that greatly influence or control the Bush administration, are aware of the existence and the role of this Stargate. Iraq's President Hussein is most likely also aware of such a Stargate's existence as might be inferred by his architectural projects intent on reviving the grandeur of early Mesopotamian civilizations, and cementing his place as the restorer of Iraq's past glory. (37) More significantly, his permission for a German team of archaeologists to resume excavations in the Sumerian city of Uruk after detailed underground mapping, suggests that this may be the location of the Sumerian Stargate. This knowledge of a buried Stargate, may also be part of the reason why the German government has been publically opposed to a US preemptive war against Iraq. If in fact both the Hussein regime and the Bush administration believe that a Stargate lies buried in the sands of Southern Iraq, then there most likely exists a race to gain access to it and to control it. My bold and underlined words show clearly the Dr. Salla’s style. He never says what he says. He suggests and his “sources” only suggest and consider the possibility of any event.

Dr. Michael Salla gives us the usual lot of hypothetical factoids and pseudo-events.

Probably the book will sell, since there are always clients that love to go into the twilight zone of half truths, insinuations, crude nonsense and fiction sold as fact. 

Dr. Michael Salla created a hypothetical world based on EXOPOLITICS where people learn to practice diplomacy with non-existent extraterrestrial entities.

I am convinced that Dr. Michael Salla not only knows this perfectly well, but he is a skeptic on the closet.  In other words he is a good illusionist, the best, because he doesn't believe in his own tricks.

Included here is my exchange of messages with the self proclaimed Exopolitician Ed Komarek. I thought that these messages teach us a lot about the UFO=ET myth and the mythologists methods.

My answer.

"Hi Ed. Sorry but I don't know what are you talking about. If possible send me the messages which insult people. Of course I don't know who is Jack Sarfatti.

By the way, in Facebook as in any other site in the USA there is FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION. Different opinions and polemics. Again let me see those "insults" and of course check if Tomas Scolarici was insulted previously. As you know well, UFO and Exofantasists just hate anyone who demands proofs. They seem to believe that they have the right to insult the "infidels" . After all they are fundamentalists and have the right to call us names. 

After all this is the price to pay when you are an adult playing childish games.

EXO-FANTASISTS and the death of the Extraterrestrial Myth.

Their biggest problem confronted by ET fantasists is to keep the extraterrestrial myth credible, and this is so simply because discredited ideas don’t sell.

It’s not easy to keep people believing that there is a cover up, and that the disclosure of the extraterrestrial presence in our planet will happen soon.

It’s not easy to convince the believers once again that there are one hundred and fifty different ET civilizations visiting our world, as the exopolitician Alfred Webre says. (YES…150 different alien species..!)

Now, the game of credibility has certain rules: some exofantasists believe that the only way of keeping the big cover-up conspiracy credible is to make it bigger and bigger. On the contrary, other “experts” think that to keep people’s faith, the best thing to do is to renew the promise of the imminent disclosure day after day.

In the early years of the ETH, (extraterrestrial hypothesis,) the imaginary ETs were ready for an open contact in days or weeks. Since this contact never happened, some ufologist got the big idea: ETs were secretly in contact with the government..! The cover-up fiction was born.

However, it was also necessary to reproduce the idea of the imminent disclosure, so the UFO fans’  faith remained strong enough to make them buy UFO books and related paraphernalia.

But as we wrote before in this blog, time is the worst enemy, and the unfulfilled promise of a fast disclosure was not a solution.

Richard Dolan was bold enough to write a book about the world after disclosure as if he knew something about such imaginary post-disclosure world, and Dr. Michael Salla kept things going on through the use of question marks and a writing style that gives some impression of personal detachment from the massive nonsense.

The ufologists also seem to believe that the ET presence on our world can be kept alive if they associate it with the paranormal and the occult. This is why some of these self-proclaimed experts define themselves as UFO and Paranormal Researchers.

This alternative definition keeps an exit door open if time and the total absence of evidence kill the ET mythology.  

If this is so, our experts in Extraterrestrial Visitors will become occultists or conspiracy theorists or cosmic alchemists (you name it).

Remember the supreme rule of the nonsense industry: The show must go on…

Richard Dolan, now into “dark journalism”, doesn’t recognize limits. In an interview conceded to the Dark journalist …

“…part two of Dark Journalist's interview with historian Richard Dolan they discuss cultural infiltration, mind control and the UFO phenomena. DJ & Dolan also probe(sic) the Manchurian Candidate pattern of strange figures in history and various programs by the Breakaway Civilization that are meant to create false illusions of real events. “

Looks like they are watching old political fiction movies…!

“They also probe (sic) the curious connection between high-level UFO contactee cases and covert intelligence agencies. They also probe deeply into controversial cases such as the Rendlesham Forest Incident, Allagash Encounter, Travis Walton case, MILAB and more.”

“The conclusions they reach will leave you shocked and dismayed at the implications of an ever-expanding worldwide plan.”

I hope these “conclusions” that are anything but conclusive, will leave you laughing and having lots of fun. Also it’s possible that the last thing you will do is to buy Dolan’s books. It’s a bad idea to buy fiction presented as fact, don’t you think?

Richard Dolan and the same preposterous fantasies

Richard Dolan, a well known UFO-Paranormal researcher and fantasist, is into “dark Journalism “. Basically, dark journalists give us a blend of conspiracy theories, misinformation, unreliable anonymous sorces, and imagination.

About this professor of Ufology in the Metaphysical Universe (ONLINE, ) UFOwatchdog says:

So what is the problem? The problem is that Dolan appears to take all evidence at face value. He will quote Morris K. Jessup on an equal basis with Jacques Vallee. He will talk of Gray Barker on the same level as J. Allen Hynek. He puts Philip Corso at the same level as Jerome Clark. In other words, he does not seem to discriminate between sources. He considers them all valid. Rather than sifting through vast amounts of disinformation for the Truth, it’s more like he’s amassing a mound of evidence without regard to its veracity or corroboration. He doesn’t even allude to the possibility that there might be some problems with some of this evidence. The clowns are thrown in with the professors.

Dolan also comes to some dubious conclusions. It’s quite clear he believes James Forrestal was killed for his knowledge that he might spill the beans. And what about Ruppelt’s early death? No one dies of a heart attack at age 37. Hmmm. And James McDonald. Did he commit suicide, really, or was he murdered because he was getting too close to the secrets? This stuff is not corroborated at all. His standards of proof are way too low. This would not be allowed in academia. You wouldn’t be able to get away with this and be considered seriously.

The third problem is that Dolan is now a star. There is no doubt that his various speaking engagements are contributing to his reputation and, by extension, to the monetary rewards of being in the spotlight. His next volume might not make him a millionaire, but it will not be insignificant. For those of you who always jump at monetary involvement, you absolutely must consider this for Dolan as well as Greer.

The fourth problem is that Dolan appears to hang out with discredited people in the field. He shares the stage with people like Greer and Bassett. His theories dovetail nicely with the Exopolitics movement, a cargo cult if there ever was one. If you are known by the company you keep, this is bad news for Dolan. You may say, as he does, that to get the word out he must take advantage of opportunities to do so, but for many, this leaves a sour taste.

Dolan writes well and deserves much of the attention he has received. It's a cut above most Ufological literature. The bottom line is that Dolan’s work appeals to a certain segment of our culture. We all love a conspiracy, and when the government is at fault, we nod our heads sagely in agreement that we knew it all along. Dolan feeds into this world view with detailed facts that suffer from credulity. His focus is very narrow and his work is not nearly as academic and scholarly as it looks. Detail does not substitute for scrutiny and discrimination. –Schuyler

In the interview, Dolan talks about the UFO phenomenon that happens, he says, again and again. Of course what he doesn’t say is that 95 % of UFO sightings are nothing but natural phenomena or man made artifacts. This clarification of course, doesn’t sell books. Truth is a bad business for professional mythologists. The “dark journalist” announces a book about UFO in the 21 century. This that in Dolan’s words, includes a complete analysis of historical Ufology, and this of course means that Richard is writing the same old book…again..! Proof of this is that Dolan tells us that his new volume will be a great source of information for those who meet the UFO phenomenon for the first time. (Call it copy & Paste.)

The interview goes on, and you will find nothing original. Listening and watching Richard Dolan, we learn something important: Not even the imagination of these “self-proclaimed experts” can produce something original.

Professor (online) Richard Dolan informs us that the cover-up will crash when the imaginary ET visitors stop playing hide and seek and show themselves openly. This, in fact is meaningless. A pathetic science-fiction scenario. (What else could be after all?)
